Tall Storeys Garden

Having a garden at Tall Storeys really is the icing on the cake! Being able to relax in the beautiful, tranquil, secluded space, filled with colour and interesting plants is just lovely.  Every day something else appears and fills me with joy.  The roses which are from the Peace family are just gorgeous, as are the delphiniums and the clematis which is the biggest one I have ever seen, has started to flower and I cannot wait to see it in full bloom.  The water lilies in our pond are doing well and the little goldfish have grown so much and seem very happy swimming around – thankfully they have survived the eagle eye of the seagulls ducking and diving nearby!  I was worried that they may not last very long, but all well at the moment.

Scarborough has been very busy this week-end with the Seafest.  The beaches were packed with people from all walks of life enjoying the sand, sea and sun.  Music and delicious food smells filled the air, cooking demonstrations in full swing in the marquee and tasting the results was a delight.  Lovely stalls with local fare to try and to buy.  The pirate ship and speed boat trips were in and out every 15 minutes with full complement every trip.  I love the speed boats – so exciting!

Tall Storey`s was full to overflowing this week-end – with lovely guests as usual.  Some here for the Seafest, some for a theatre trip and some just to enjoy what Scarborough has to offer.
